We are resetting for the Blessing Bag Drive! This year has been another HUGE success because of all of you. Each one of your donations put a blessing in a the hands of a homeless person.
Our first year we did 80 Blessing Bags. We were so happy with the results we decided right there this was something we wanted to do every year. The second year we collected all year with a goal of 200 Blessing Bags. Guess what, because of all of you we actually did 205 Blessing Bags,, 10 personal care baskets, and 9 personal care gift bags.
Our third year, with you help we did 317 Blessing Bags!. We did 9 Thanksgiving dinner baskets. 2 Christmas Dinner Baskets, and collected donations for a family in desperate need. —>Donations as well as $650.00 to keep their electric on.
On top of everything we are thrilled that in 2015 we are expanded into Baltimore. That year 237 Blessing Bags stayed here in Delaware and 70 went to Baltimore.
In 2016 we did even more! We did 455 Blessing Bags, at least 100 Easter bags, and a box of donations for the woman’s shelter! We had 200 bags here in Delaware, 175 went to Baltimore, and 80 went to Philadelphia. We also were able to send a bunch of full size personal care items to a LGBT shelter in Philadelphia that desperately needed donations.
In 2017, it was our record year! Over 500 Blessing Bags!
In 2018, there was a drop in donations sadly. We still ended up doing a little over 100 bags.
Help make 2019 even better!

So remember when you go on vacation collect your toiletries and donate them. They are the perfect size. Once you get there just tell the maid service you need them refreshed every day. Then just put them in your bag. Some will even give you extra if you ask. If you see something on sale and you have a couple extra bucks donate it. We will store the items all year again.
