Wednesday, Mar 18th – 7:30p-9pm: BESS Educational Meeting!  Sharp and Shiny: from Sensual Play to Cutting Scenes with Knives and other Sharp Things with StrongJohn & Tyger. This class covers a variety of types of play with knives and other sharp and shiny things, and, most importantly, how to do this kind of play safely. The demonstration begins with a non-cutting knife play scene, exploring the sensual sensations of steel on flesh. The lecture/discussion portion of the presentation describes various types of sharp things and their scene uses. Issues of hygiene, blood safety, and follow-up care are then reviewed. The demonstration then presents an example of knife play that begins with skin scraping, moves on to scratching, and concludes with cutting.
